Apparently, there is a NOS/OS mode switch in the back. I assume it’ll be sorta like how the pre-amp switch is on the EH1. Huzzah! Now to see if there are more input options on the EH2. That makes more sense in an upgrade model imho.

It's great to have that option...NOS is preferable imho.

Also I have a double DAC amp review to write next week...& want to open up debates surrounding current R-2R units, including the K11 R2R (PTT on it a few weeks ago.)
So I'd like to pair it up with the Shanling EH2, plus the two DAC review units I've already implemented in my desktop set up.

As suspected from the Review, I will order the EH1 along with Meze 105 AER!

- what is the lenght of the cables included with the DAC?
- are the volume and eq knobs metal or plastic?
- if I plan to use an external power supply, how many amperes should it have and what is the size of the power jack plug?
- does the usb driver work with Windows 7?

- Our standard USB cable is around 1m, the USB to DC power cable should be similar.

- Knobs are metal.

- Requested details from engineers, will post when we receive it.

- Not something we tested.

Just received mine yesterday. Great stuff so far, needed an upgrade for my K5 Pro.
And UAC 1 is really useful for Nintendo Switch!

There is a nice fullness to the midrange and sound feels full and smooth. Good job!
