Same here! We have a few IEMs in common and I always love your take on new gear .... thanks for being one of the Pioneers on this one. I'm particularly interested in your take on the Volt vs Fusion!

As an owner of the Totem cable, I can tell you it is an exceptional cable that dramatically improves the sound of any IEM that I have tried it with. It's my favourite cable (for context, I own the EA Code 51, Leonidas II Octa, Cleopatra Octa and PW Audio 1960 amongst many other high-end cables) and at its price it's an absolute bargain. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

And Volt has arrived and let me tell you it's a beauty with great fit (always the first thing to check with customs)!

A few quick pics before I set up the mini Studio for better ones

I only had a few minutes so I'll post first impressions later but let me say I like what I am hearing!

Some first impressions after a day with it...

Volt is open sounding with superb imaging. It's also very resolving with fantastic clarity and transparency. At the same time Volt has well extended punchy bass with good rumble and full sounding mids with good bite. Treble is exquisite and refined with immense upper treble extension and beautiful transients. As reported by most, lower treble is safe I don't find it lacking energy but it will lack bite for some. Overall, it’s a highly engaging IEM with an amazing sense of realism. It reminds me of the Elysium with more punch down low (granted I have only auditionned the Elysium in universal form...).

From most impressions of the universal published so far I suspect the custom is punchier and with more clarity... then again the fit is the deepest of all my customs and I have a few. I’ll take further pics but there are 3 bores with a deep horn bore design. I suspect this plays a role into how the superb soundstage is projected vs the universal as well.
Last but not least Volt needs power first time I switched the Hiby R8 from high to medium gain in Turbo mode with an IEM. I suspect it will scale well with amps

Something beautiful has landed to go along with Volt, a flagship IEM deserves a flagship cable

This is a quick pic as I am at work but i'll take more that does justice to this magnificent cable...

First impression will come but let me say it's been a while since I have been shocked at how much of an impact on sound a cable can have, in fact the only cable since I owned PW 1960 4 wires that blows my mind. Among those which I auditioned I'd rank PlusSound Tri-Copper X8 in the same league. This is going to be such a fantastic time to check this cable with all my 2 pins IEMs... heck I'll probably end up buying the MMCX!

And here is a sign, I can't put down the Volt even after the review it's really a superb IEM and insane value for money!

In fact now that I can just enjoy them without having to work on them, it's a sweeeeet time!
