Well well well here comes a new DAP and there you go, Volt has reached another level of synergy... Shanling M9 is really doing some very very special stuff when paired with Volt... it's more energetic both mids and treble, and it becomes more transparent and open sounding while retaining Volt refined character and then some. I had quite a few DAPs paired with Volt : N6ii Ti, M8, RS6, M17... but none brings this out of Volt by a long shot.
Volt is a classic that will never disappoint... those who found it a bit too relaxed or a tad dark should give it a go on M9 they'll be amazed at what it does...

Hi, the shell will be custom according to your ear impressions. You can either send us your ear impression or STL fiI
I am deaf in my left ear and have the Volt and I think it is fantastic. I was wanting to know if you can take my left earpiece and combine it into my right earpiece? I know a lot of other companies do this with their's, but I didn't want their particular iem. If you can how much would that be? Thank youHi, the shell will be custom according to your ear impressions. You can either send us your ear impression or STL file.

Just got a second-hand FiiO M15 and loving it. With Volts immediately noticed the least three-blob headstage ever. Literally perfectly balanced energy across the stage with absolutely no peaks or valleys. And vocals are perfectly in the mix — neither too up-front, nor recessed.
An outstanding pairing!
The bad news is that the M15 also pairs really well w/ IT-07, so I still can’t pick one of them to move on.

Is the Totem interconnect comparable to the ALO Reference 8? The ALO is originally priced much higher but I was just wondering if it's worth it to have both, seems like a nice option. Looks to be a fairly flexible, durable cable and I like the blue.

Could you give me a comparison between the Ext and the Elysium and also have you heard the tia trio, I was thinking about getting one of those. ThanksYep I have tried it, it's not my favorite pairing as the Blanche is not your typical silver cable, it's as smooth as it gets and Volt is already smooth to begin with... I prefer Penon OSG pairing, note than the recent ISN Solar is superb as well with Volt. But the best pairing is much pricier, Penon Totem brings Volt to such heights...
Yes I own both
Volt is no slouch at all but Zen is weightier down low, with more bass impact... upper mids are livelier with more energy, Volt is smoother there. Lower treble again more energetic on Zen, Volt is smoother but more extended in the upper treble region with more air and also more resolution it's simply more refined.
I love both, Volt is more relaxed and more refined while Zen is more "fun" with more energy with very strong fundamentals..
I love my Penon ear buds! They sound really open and musical without the grating sound of enhanced treble.

Due to the popularity of the market, we changed the TOTEM to 3-in-1 detachable plug. The cost of the wire was reduced, so the price was also lowered.
