I haven't used it yet. I haven't done any updates.
I would like to see the sequence through the Nexis App before doing the update.

I will see if there is any documentation, I was going to make a video however when I went to do it being my unit had already been done the OTA update button (Far Left) no longer showed for me so it wouldn't have been able to be done.

It is fairly straightforward to use the Nexis app if there is an update you will see a circle with an up arrow to the left just click it select the update and it will do it itself.

Best I can show you at the moment...

Open the Nexis app and set up connection to the NEO2

Screen will show connected, close app and reopen...

Note this screen is under the 4 squares icon as you will be greeted with the setup screen again.

Select the 3 lines to get to Update or unbind screen

If you have a firmware update it will show in the place where I placed the arrow and U

Then just follow the prompts to update the NEO2

Firmware updates are done through the Nexis App...

So to update the firmware through the Nexis app is it necessary to activate Bluetooth?

I updated the firmware through the PC, no one ever said it was better to do it through Nexis. I also have the Zen Dac V2 and updates through the PC have always been successful.

firmware must be updated via the PC, you are right. this usb updates xmos and wifi.. if it works... the nexis app only updates the neo 2 firmware, not the same.

As @dpeterfy32 said this is what is creating some confusion and will be addressed in a later update.

The display on the Neo iDSD2 only shows the IOT FW version and not the XMOS or the GAIA BlueTooth version. XMOS can only be seen using the PC Windows tool so when folks see 1.15v on the display this is not indicative of any USB downloads or Windows driver updates only internal unit firmware version

I finally managed to install the V1.18 firmware. The process was not quick. First I paired my smartphone with the Neo, then I installed the Gaia app and updated the Bluetooth firmware. Then I opened the Nexis app (I had to create an account to use it) and connected the Neo. Then using wi-fi the app searched for the firmware and installed it. The Nexis app only supports 2.4GHz network, so I had to disable the 5GHz network first.

I updated the FW to v1.18 and also the Bluetooth FW to v1.4.9
Everything is OK.

After installing both FW, I saw only one BUG in Nexis app. DSD files appear as DXD.
In DAC it is correct.

is there a problem with Nexis app? My app was not working properly on Android phone and I had to uninstall it. Now, I cannot find it on Google Play Store.
Is it not anymore available on the Google Store or it's only me not seeing it?
Where can I download the app again?

Hello, could it be possible to be able to dim or turn off the white light on the front of the Neo 2? Maybe in a future update?

Hello,
iFi Nexis has been added to Google Play store back but something is still wrong with it - there is no remote control within. Only Connections and Codecs.

there are no news on update. That's information I can see as current firmware on app. It seems like it is Bluetooth firmware. And for Neo there is "NEW IDSD

". Something is completely messed up there.
