Per ifi websiteSo, any news on the actual RMS power output?
Output Power: | |
Balanced | >19.5V/650 mW (@ 600Ω); >13.3V/5,551 mW (@ 32Ω) |
UnBAL | >10.5V/184 mW (@ 600Ω); >9.5V/2,832 mW (@ 32Ω) |

I think you misunderstand. I am asking about the actual power output, not these, basically fake numbers. The Diablo was stated as having almost 5W of power (impossible for a battery powered unit, even ignoring heat dissipation) yet in two independent measurements, it was shown to be under 1W. When queried in the past, someone was told that it was a peak, instantaneous measurement.Per ifi website

Interesting, my new Topping amp supposedly makes 17000 mw of power, and it’s smaller than the Neo. I wonder if it’s making that much powerI think you misunderstand. I've been PMed a number closer to 1500mW, which is still good.
I'm not suggesting the "answer" is Android (I'm firmly entrenched in iOS myself with iPad and iPhone), but I'm curious if you have an Android device to test to see if that app is also dead in the water presently?@iFi audio just a heads up, the iOS app is bricked. Can’t use it at all on several iOS devices. I hope it gets fixed soon, I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning the unit!
Yes, I’ve submitted a ticket.
No Android here. The password reset feature doesn’t work, and new accounts can’t be created.I'm not suggesting the "answer" is Android (I'm firmly entrenched in iOS myself with iPad and iPhone), but I'm curious if you have an Android device to test to see if that app is also dead in the water presently?
This always shows wrong DSD512 - 12mhz, but DSD512×48 always shows right, i.e. 24mhz. And why show DXD? In addition, an annoying bug is that you cannot connect to the same wireless network yourself unless you remove the device and add it again.
Yes Im totally sure. As you can see Roon signal path.DXD usually refers to high sample rate PCM.
I know little about HQ-PLAYER (just tried it a few times), but are you sure it sends the native DSD stream and doesn't convert it to PCM?
