any chance you can share your pmeq file? I've been working on this one, I'm pretty happy with it.

PMEQ.bin
I am not quite sure how to do that, but I will take a picture later when I am with the LPG.

Under the ATE/PMEQ menu / PMEQ Management, scroll to the bottom and there is an export PMEQ option. This will save to the SD card where you can access it via the usb cable. I think it's called PMEQ.bin. Then it's just a case of sharing via Google Drive or equivalent.

Has anyone here used Sennheiser HD650 headphones with both the Lotoo Paw Gold Touch and the Lotoo Paw Gold 2017?

I love that this player has PMEQ, even though the settings you shared sound completely different from mine, there's nothing wrong at all, just a different accent on the music. For example, playing The Pinapple Thief's 'in exile' album, those tom rolls are really pronounced and epic, whereas the tiny little splash cymbals are much more muted, still an awesome sound, just different. Personally I love hi hats and cymbols to be really clean and shiny, hence my pmeq settings offer a more V shaped response which seems to suit my Shure KSE 1200's really well.

No, I didn't go behind the driver, just put pieces of self-adhesive sorbothane on the plastic that surrounds the driver

I am a tad treble shy. You could try bumping the treble frequencies up a tad.

I have two OEM charging cords with USA plugs for LPG in classifieds. Also LPG 2017 for USA sale...customs stresses me out. It took over a month the last time to arrive.

So you're selling up and buying a 1Z? interesting, hope you don't regret it. Would love me a 1z though.... good luck with the sale
I may be selfless and get my wife a nice laptop as a retirement gift. She's going to lose hers when she retires.

looks like LPG’s screen quality is just bad. Mine has some weird vertical lines if I set the brightness too high.
Me too. I plan to send it off for repairs

That's bad, looks like some pixels are dead? How long did you had it? Contact Lotoo and see what they say. I see faults with the screen now that years before didn't, so obviously the type of O

Yes, this OLED type similar more or less with the one used in Sandisk Sansa Clip+.
There is no backlight as expected with OLED, only when you put the brightness on higher the organic diodes consume more energy to be brighter. So apart the sapphire used to cover the screen, this OLED used is from the 90's IMHO.
My advice to all LPG owners is to use the screen on minimum brightness and not longer then 10-15 seconds at the time to prevent issues from occuring.

So, I've searched hi and lo and although there is some chatter on this thread around power supplies, the links are now dead mostly. I need some help please, I have a USB power brick (Anker) which can output both 9v and 12v which is really handy for powering devices which are not so portable. I'd like to be able to use that to charge my PAW Gold 2017. Problem is I can't find the correct tip size. I googled the power adapter and according to the specs of that particular one, the tip is 4.0/1.7mm (https://www.pchub.com/ue-ue15wcp1-120125spa-ac-adapter-5v-12v-ue15wcp1-120125spa-p204628) so I bought tip at that size from Amazon (I can attach that to the flylead which plugs into the 12v out of the USB battery). Problem is though it seems too big to fit and I am putting a fair amount of pressure but dont want to risk damaging the port on the PAW. Does anyone have a link (which still works) to an alternate power supply? maybe I can get a clue around the tip sizing.

Thanks!

I have an OEM charging cord for sale.
