The NW-WM1A is a damn excellent DAP. I cannot and will not sell mine. Personally, I think they're pretty equivalent in quality. They just have different sound signatures that different people like or prefer more than the other. I think more congested music does a little better on the black Sony. Slap bass jazz is amazing on the 1Z...Rush too. LPG can pretty much turn into a chameleon with the PMEQ. All of these players at this level are super high quality.

The LPG is deliciously awesome too. Anything Lotoo or Sony is amazing. Lotoo, Shure, and Sony are my three favorite brands.

I love Solar Wind. They're a jazz group from Texas. Mix It Up is a great song. I love Brian Bromberg. I should probably just say bass guitar heavy jazz.

By the way: Are do you know alternative players with similar dimensions and output power for single ended?

I know that the LPGT, acoustic research M2 and Fiio M15 have such a power. But they are too big.
