I am considering selling my LPG 2017 with a filled 512gb card, Dignis case, two extra chargers, two cables, and a Pelican 1010 case. I am torn. Not sure what I will price it at, but the Touch is calling me...
Nevermind, I am keeping it.

Hi - Just wondering, how does the 1Z compare to the LPG? thanks!
The NW-WM1Z is far more analog with thicker notes. Sony is SO AMAZING with my Shure SRH1540 headphones. The LPG is far more reference, with better resolution. LPG kicks like a mule because of its power. With the correct PMEQ settings, my HD650s sound better from LPG than a Bottlehead Crack tube amp. I need both DAPs in my life, because I like reference and analog, tube-like signatures nearly equally. I do like Sony a tad more, which shows me graphs, charts, power, and resolution isn't everything. The bass in Pink Floyd, Not Now John off The Final Cut is so juicy on NW-WM1Z.

I hear ya, that's why I still use my WM-1A. I guess the 1Z just takes it to another level. Congrats

The NW-WM1A is between NW-WM1Z and LPG signature-wise. Very useful DAP.

Hello everyone! What’s the recommendation between wm1z vs LGPT if I want something to complement my SP1000m? I have Tia trio, earsonics purple and DC Ether 2
The Lotoo house sound is more reference. It has more similarities with SP1000M. The Sony NW-WM1Z is a warm, tubey, analog sound with deep, lush notes. I would think you would go with Sony. I would also go straight to the balanced output. You have to be very calculated and deliberate in choosing headphones. Synergy and driving difficulty are important considerations. I use Shure SRH1540 headphones with Lqi balanced cables for my NW-WM1Z and NW-WM1A. It works beautifully. Burn in is real for Sony. At least 200 hours. At 500 hours it really blossoms.

Sony wm1z and walkman one custom firmware is perfect analog sound. Lpgt is also an amazing player and it has neutral sound. Actually it depends on your choices, But for me 64 audio tia trio and wm1z will be a dream.
I may get an LPGT

Thanks. I did wonder if LGPT would be a side grade or small upgrade to SP1000m due to similar sound. In favour of LGPT would be its combination with warm sounding Tia trio but I also love the analog quality of wm1z and the battery life. Need to carefully think about pairings
