As you can see here in the Head-Fi Classifieds FAQ and Walkthrough, you must be a member of Head-Fi for over thirty days, have 2FA enabled, and you must have over fifteen posts on Head-Fi's forums in order to post in the Classifieds area.

Sorry to bother you. I’m not sure if I’m mistaken, but it seems to me that I meet the requirements to post. My account should be over a year old (though I admit I haven’t been very active), I’ve enabled 2FA, and I have well over 15 posts (if it includes comments etc)
I logged out and back in using 2FA, but I still can’t post anything.
I just want to make a WTB post for an Audeze MM-500.
Do you have any idea what the issue might be?
Thank you.
Once you enable 2FA, you have to wait for up to an hour for the system to apply the necessary permissions.

If you refer to the Head-Fi Classifieds Walkthrough and FAQ which is linked at the top of the Classifieds area, you'll see that you have not met all of the requirements for posting a Head-Fi Classified.
Are there any requirements to post a classified?
Anyone wishing to post a classified must be a member of Head-Fi for more than thirty (30) days, have over fifteen (15) posts, and have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled on their profile. Any Head-Fi'er who has not yet met all of these requirements will not be able to create a new classified.
Please note: Head-Fi Classifieds are reserved for Head-Fi'ers actively taking part in discussion threads. Rapidly posting to meet the 15 count or posting nonsense/low effort posts to reach the post threshold is not allowed, and will be treated as forum spam. If it is found that a Head-Fi’er reached the requirement by making such posts, those posts may be removed and access to Head-Fi Classifieds may be revoked indefinitely.

How to know if the seller's listing is still active/available?
As I understand there is a blue button above and beyond listing "contact seller" - so if there is no blue button "contact seller" it means that listing is inactive and item is unavailable/sold?

You'll find a listing's current state shown next to the asking price on the main Head-Fi Classifieds categories and in the listing itself.
Here are a few screenshots to show a particular listing is still "For Sale."

On the search results page, it will be shown next to the listing's title. Here's a screenshot.

Been a member since December 13th 2024, have 15 posts & enabled 2FA. Why can I still not make a listing on classifieds? Pretty sure I meet all the requirements.

If you got past the threshold recently (or enabled 2FA recently) I think it can take some time before the system updates the status. Maybe check back a bit later.Been a member since December 13th 2024, have 15 posts & enabled 2FA. Why can I still not make a listing on classifieds? Pretty sure I meet all the requirements.

From our Head-Fi Classifieds FAQ and quoted in Joe's post above:

Making 13 posts in three days specifically to unlock access to Head-Fi Classifieds falls under this umbrella. If you have any further questions, please feel free to PM us.
