Introducing ConX

Wow, this seems more compact than the Dunu hulk.
The DUNU Hulk & DUNU modular cables have interchangeable connectors on the headphone/source side of the cable. The EA ConX system is for interchangeable connectors on the IEM-to-cable side. Ideally there would be a cable system that combines the two, so you’re covered no matter what IEMs or source are used.

So purchase the Dunu cables and get ConX to redo the IEM to cable side of the cable.

I will try this as soon as they support QDC. By that time, there should be some reviews out, too.

And the best part is that Effect Audio is opening our doors to all cables: regardless of brand, you can send your cable to us to be re - terminated with ConX connectors.

Price: USD$50 + USD$30 retermination fee.
Get your own at effectaudio.com

This looks great. Will you eventually be selling cables that are already terminated with ConX connectors? Or do we have to buy a regular EA cable and then pay for it to be re-terminated?

Hummm...
Why do Effet Audio needs a collab ? Come on...
Stop talking of Dunu (no offense), this is an effet audio thread...

Is there any chance to loose the connector ? (Screw ?)

This is a great idea, but yeah, maybe you can also do the same for the terminaison too (2.5mm, 3.5mm, 3.5mm balanced and 4.4mm) ?

This would be the end all be all dream team! Cable collab with @DUNU-Topsound? :D

So if I understand this, we go from the connectors on the IEM to ConX, then ConX to 2.5 or 4.4, etc? And I would assume over time we can purchase ConX to 2.5 or 4.4 balanced or ConX to 3.5 single ended cables? If that is the case, it would make sense to send a difficult to fit cable like the one from my FLC8S (.78 2 pin but still a bit funky) to ConX that could modify my current funky 2 pin to ConX; the ConX to the existing termination (which happens to be 2.5). And then in the future I can pick up a ConX to 4.4 or 3.5.

Is that roughly on track?

I bet an introductory video would be helpful for a number of people including this particular ninny.
