Headamp's product page has a small blurb about a new future product.

pico POWER Portable Amp

Coming in the future.
Powerful like a desktop amp, small like a Pico.
Recommended for hard to drive headphones.

Are there more information available in meet threads and such? I've searched the forums but couldn't find any mention. I've been away from HF most of this year. I can't imagine there not being any talks about a new product coming from one of the premier amp designer/makers.

it's an 18V powered amp (2x9V) in what should be the thinnest enclosure for a 2x9V amp (around 0.7"), machined out of solid aluminum with a custom battery cover on the bottom instead of the normal end-loading. Length/width will closely match iPhone/touch/classic.

Discrete transistor output buffer, gain switch, ~25 hr battery life with 300mah NIMH batteries

woot! dual 9v batteries! I still have my 9v battery charger from my days owning the SR-71.

Justin, will this new amp inherit the digital volume control from the Pico Slim?

No.  the advantages of the digital volume control will mostly be noticeable w/ IEMs, while this amp will have good capability w/ hard to drive full size headphones.  so it will be an analog volume control

That's a shame I love the digital volume control on the Pico Slim.
