InEarZ (Fisher Hearing) Custom Remold Owner's Thread

It's interesting that several people had fit issues with the right earpiece only...I'm also one of them. While both earpieces were a bit snug (or I may just not be used to the fit), the right earpiece did cause significant pain when inserting it into the ear. The very tip somehow didn't align with the canal and would repeatedly rub against a specific point. After inserting several times, the inside of my right ear felt sore and I no longer tried reinserting the earpieces. I had new impressions made, hopefully more accurate but I hope they are utilized well for the refits.

Hey Watagump, looking at your brown remold picture. It seems like the bore holes are recessed in, is that by design? I was looking at the old postings that people posted their pictures, most of them are all flat cut at the canal area.

I wonder when they started that?  Both of mine made 1/31/12 have recessed bore holes, too.

Maybe the technician doing the right ear pieces is left handed.

Perhaps you are, because I can't even go a whole day listening to mine comfortably. I think the majority of us who are actively reporting about their reshells have said there are some issues -- mainly fit, some with color/artwork, or other problems.

I got my pair today. They made the left side too large, it even sticks out a bit... Not sure if they can sand it out without redoing it because of the way they positioned the drivers in it. Argh...

They also decided to not send me back my Otterbox that I sent my IEM's in... Not sure if they would throw it out? Regardless... not cool. Too bad the work day is over for them, otherwise I'd give them a call. An email will have to do for now.
