Anyone do this with Dunu DN-1000? Its a triple hybrid IEM and I'm not sure if they could do it. I emailed them but no response yet.

Typically does the sound change? Is there loss of bass?

Just received my first pair of customs. They are remolds of some broken, neglected SE530s. (I wish I took "before" pictures of those infamous, destroyed cables for contrast.) I am loving the Inearz's build quality: the enclosure is bubble-free, smooth and seal is fantastic. 
 
My total including rushed delivery back to California was $180. Highly recommended.

Well i broke my ue900s today. So I don't think anyone has had them done before so Im hoping they turn out ok. i don't know if i should just have them use a different connector or try to use the stock ue900 cable.
