While i still need to wait for months for semper and you all are burning in your new toys OM PB2 AT5, I thought to share this interesting little burn in machine with you, i just got it yesterday and trying it out, you can google it, its by a brand called Evening Star, and it's called Burn-in-A1. Never had time to burn in all the earphones, so this helps a lot, if it works. Hope you all dont mind it's not related to IMR directly.

its quite unlikely, though weird scenarios have been seen. did the whole headphone stopped working or only the DD?
Only the DD stopped working, which resulted in the slow shifting on balance of low frequencies and male vocals to the left. The BAs worked as normal, which made all the rest of sound spectrum play correctly.

Yeah, I am convinced the dynamic driver in my FH3 died because of that. I heard driver flex in them, and I may have driven air into the shell when tip rolling.

If that helps, I have driver flex with my Zeniths, asked Bob about that some time ago and he said it's perfectly fine and there's nothing to worry about.

One thing I wanted to note is how comfortable the new IMR shells are. They look so awkward, but the fit is good and I don't develop any sore spots when wearing them (like I do with Blessing 2, for example).
I have now also switched away from the reference nozzle-filter combination to the same pairing I have on my EDP: red nozzle with blue filter. The Aten is so delightful. I am looking forward to the Semper now even more.

Hi. What cases are those, and where can I buy one (or ten)? Thank you!

I got mine from Taobao China, a lot cheaper though, around US$9 each. Personally I think the quality is very good for its price, smooth and firm zip, sturdy case shell, soft fluffy inlay; the stitching is surprisingly good too.

Opus mia is incredible paired with Penon OSG, I didn’t think it can scale up as well with an aftermarket cable.😍
Waiting for PB2 🤤

Well, this is it. I think I've finally hit my sweet spot in this hobby IEM-wise. I only have 20-30 hours on the new Aten, but it has already outclassed most of the other IEMs that I have. Even if I don't like the Semper and opt to sell it, I'm finally satisfied. Hell, I may let go some of the other IEMs now.

I’m thinking of getting a spare set just in case
