I work with extremely high bandwidth and speed demanding equipment. Most expensive cables used (that must also be shielded) never go higher thank 50€. To me is rather difficult to understand those crazy prices and that need of such exotic designs beyond the mere extremely lucrative business behind
Im no expert but I found a substantial difference in bass and clarity after using Effect Audio cables, specially Code 23.
There has to be something the cables are doing extra.
Maybe not worth 200-300 USD but something !

Not an expert but I definitely noticed differences in sound quality with different cables.
But not necessarily the more expensive a cable is, the better.
I, too, am having trouble paying more that 100 euro/dollars for any cable.
Also, microphonics is a real pain, and a cable that handles this well is always
a winner for me.

I listen to Enigma with a copper cable EA ARES S 8W, it sounds great. I think with Code 23 it will sound even better.

Which one is this Enigma or Enigma + ?
Which one is the mem and which one amt ?
The mem driver is rectangular, while the AMT driver has a tube installed as a nozzle

In general I use the cables provided by the manufacturer of the iems, except in cases where the original cable is a piece of crap, such as the empire ears Zeus xiv, noble kaiser k10, or even the u12t. In these cases, the replacement has been NiceHCK from AliExpress. I don't think I can be of any help to you on this, since as I mentioned I find it very hard to understand that there are differences beyond the placebo effect.

Have you ever listened to two identical IEMs side by side with different high end cables (one silver and one copper, for example)? If so, what did you notice?
