wow, that is quite the vCap dock, a whole new sound and look. I always thought the mini connection was a bottle neck and that thing throws in a whole new look and two extra capacitors. That is just stunning.

Can't afford it.

I dunno. Those teflon caps are about $40 each for Ken, its a lot of hard work squeezing them in there in parallel, he removed a major bottleneck getting rid of the mini input and output and included $300 just in cabling right there, plus its a limited edition item that has stunning appeal.

$350 normal+150 in teflon and custom extra work+$300 in alo cables+$50 for the custom extrusion about covers the price of these babies. Grab them while their hot if you want a one of a kind collectors item that you can't go wrong with in sound quality thats almost been personalized for very few people. Wish I had a stack of cash unused.

be interesting in a morbid kind of way to compare notes on what customs decides to hit us up for on something of that magnitude coming into these shores

i guestimate about £38 minimum - thats what it was on my last £850 import (imod-vcap-smIV)

I agree, I kind of want the ability to use my own iPod dock as well. I really wish I could find a way to get the caps added to a normal one in parallel or remove the mini cable from that one. I do like that it removes the bottleneck, for someone who is looking for an all in one solution for an average portable amp, this is it.
