There something wrong with mine causing static lets see how the warranty support is lol

I think that's just a source problem. I'm not very well equipped when it comes to sources, as all I really have is my 2010 macbook (non-pro) and my ipod touch 2g. On my macbook there is ALWAYS a tiny bit of static noise and hiss, but this happens with almost every headphone I have. On my ipod touch however, it's non-existant....yet music sounds better on my mac...(sounds amazing btw) even with the slight hiss....

Just learnt the correct term lol my GR2 have terrible Microphonics! Not my source.... Bit disappointed in all truth then again i have no idea if this is the 'norm' at this price range. Think I might give the Vpulse a go bit more pricey but I’m sure I’ll love them

Do you mean the cable motion sounds loud? I'd say that's pretty much just a function of a well-sealed earpiece, and somewhat also to do with what the cable is made of.

I've had my GR02s just over a week now and I'm not sure I like the cable. It's thin but sturdy, and made of nice flexible rubber, which is good compared to the stiff plasticky rubber of my current JVCs (though I've had some JVCs which had different cable). I'm also glad it's got an equal split - not one of those stupid ones where the cable to one ear is longer than the other so all the weight gets put on one ear,

But the GR02 cable is so damn LONG!, lol! It's always flapping around when I walk, catching on things, very microphonic, and the weight of it hanging gradually pulls the earbuds out of my ears slightly after a while of walking.

Just wanting to check that I bought the GR02 regular edition and not the bass. I wanted the bass, but oh well!

My box has 3 Chinese characters in parenthesis rather than the 5 I see on ClieOS's photo here:

As well as only 3 sets of tips vs 14. Looks like I'll try to return these, but I wanted to do some comparison and these seemed to be the only ones to get (vs. the lendmeyourears set at $47) quickly. Rest seem to ship from China/Singapore.
Just confirming and posting this so people in the future know.

It seems like a ton of sellers use GR02 stock photos (Non Bass ver.) so that doesn't help.

Have anyone seen the bass edition being sold anywhere recently? They all seem out of stock?

I just purchased a set.
You can see he lists good pictures and the image is the correct box unlike the above listing (Even though he puts BASS VERSION in red text). I always like going for auctions that give me a good understanding of what I'm getting.

5 Chinese characters in parenthesis along with a 30mW max vs 50mW.

But are those IEM's the real deal?

Compared to the pictures of (3A69) VSonic GR02 Bass Edition from the multi-review thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/478568/multi-iem-review-254-iems-compared-philips-oneill-tread-klipsch-s3-added-09-19-12#post_6492048
they doesn't look like the same IEM's.

Look at the plugs for example.

I just want to be sure to get the correct version, and the proper plug because it seems to have better durability and flexibility. (I've had a lot of problems and I'm sick of my former IEM's; Fischer, NuForce(poor), Epson and Etymotic because of their build quality in the sense that they all get glitches in the cables around the plugs or the housing. So the GR02 with it's supposedly strong cables look like something more durable..)

You know I was wondering this for a while. I have the GR02 Bass edition with the more streamlined, sexier IMO, L plug (with a logo).....what exactly is the difference between this L connector and the other uhh.....J type plug

The L-plugs tend to provoke glitches in the cables for my previous IEM's, and they are not very flexible or comfortable when connected to the ipod in the pocket. The J-plug is the crap! and I definately want to go for it - If possible

I think the plug might have changed in the June revision as ClieOS mentioned before?
