Have you set the playback options to USB in the Zen App (in AIO mode) and click save?

@Vitor Goncalves is correct! Default is coax I believe, you need to select USB and click save!

Focus on compatibility with Tidal Connect (android) so that the constant connection issues resolve. This should be ifi's ZS paramount, threshold goal.

Spotify, chromecast, Apple Airplay, all work flawlessly with the ZN - none of which offer hifi sounds so defeat the point that of having the ZN in chain.

And yes - my earlier grumbles return- after being away from my house for a few days suddenly Tidal says "failed to connect to server" again when linked into the ZS.

Queue myriad of ZN restarts and troubleshooting again- while reverting to inferior spotify sound.

So- make your product work as advertised would be a good starting point.

Then add you tube music (android) functionality (ifis current advertising implies that this exists, however it does not).

Then wrap it all up in a cool app. An app that can resolve connection issues with tidal!

Having some issues with the Zen Stream when I switch on the device. The usual start-up process is when you power-on the Stream will go though its start-up process and then; connect to the DAC. During the start-up process, there is a period of white noise and then when it has finished the start-up process the white noise disappears and you can start streaming. Lately I have experienced a hitch where the white noise refuses to go away and I can't stream. I have to restart the Stream a few times and on one of those restarts, the white noise will go away.

Do I need to send it for repair @iFi audio?

Thanks for posting this! I thought it was very interesting that when talking about the NEO he said he likens it to the Diablo, I am the only other person that posted that thought in the NEO thread!

as the zen stream is running volumio from what I gather, you can open up plugin support - convolution/eq for room/headphone correction would be great.

In fact is it possible to flash open source volumio on it so I can enable plugin in the meantime?

i guess existing zen streams will still hang with volumio ? As someone pointed in that case I would love to flash current zen stream firmware with open source volumio

Are you having some issues with the Zen and the Stream-iFi app that we can help with?

I think it's important to once again point out that the app is "Volumio" based and not full-blown Volumio. This misconception has been present for a long time and should be pointed out.
