It definitely sounds better using a Balanced 4.4mm interconnect.
The bass is a little more defined, slightly more detail overall.

or to this new streamer - does it make sense for price 399$ ?

in my opinion, this price (streamer without the integrated DAC) is too high, just like the reviewer,
I think it should be around $ 100-200 max - which is similar to the source of the PI raspberry idea from which this streamer comes.
If someone buys ZEN Streamer and ZEN DAC, the price for this set is not very competitive for Bluesound Node

Maverick255 is right - this inscription on the Streamer completely does not match and destroys the harmony of the IFI ZEN stack
