Is there a planned date for the manifestation of this declaration? "We are currently in the process of doing the work on our end to update our system to accommodate the switch from Tidal MQA to Tidal Max"

I remember that Tidal start offering Tidal Max instead of MQA since August of 2023....Is there a planned date for the manifestation of this declaration? "We are currently in the process of doing the work on our end to update our system to accommodate the switch from Tidal MQA to Tidal Max"
There was a planned date, but that has passed best I can say is this is there were a few changes with Tidal itself that set things back not only for us but for others as well.Is there a planned date for the manifestation of this declaration? The button on the right has a dual function, a quick press turns the LED indicators on and off, just don't hold it! That is for hotspot mode!Hello,
So I’ve had for a few days the Ifi Zen Stream to try on a 272 Naim (streamer, dac, preampli) with its XPSDR power supply and ATC 40A, first with its original ipower power supply, then with the Power X and now with the Power Elite, in SPDIF mode 5 and Qobuz via Mconnect. Suffice to say, the Elite is the best and by far, with Zen the sound is very analog, fluid (the voices are sublime) while being dynamic when necessary.
Excellent together, it easily replaces the streamer 272 which begins to date (2015).
I would just like there to be a dimmer for both LEDs...

Yes I knew, but it would have been better if we could lower the brightness without turning it off...The button on the right has a dual function, a quick press turns the LED indicators on and off, just don't hold it! That is for hotspot mode!
Cheers!!
Ahhh, I understand....Yes I knew, but it would have been better if we could lower the brightness without turning it off...

I am told we are getting closer, I hate saying that TBH as I have been here before, and I also don't like to give excuses but the changes at Tidal in aspects other than just FLAC MQA have made things a bit maddening for lots of folks, although they may not admit it I will...
So something is going on.....

I tire of ads pretty quickly and $7 isn’t the end of the world.
I also logged a case with Tidal directly since it seems more likely the issue is in their app - given mconnect plays the same playlists without any problems.
Stay tuned!
PS: Nothings ever perfect but striving for that is a good way to deliver excellence!
And yet some have no problems at all, while you may be correct with what you are saying it's far from the main cause as many many users have no such issues. The problem with TIDAL is likely that the Zen Stream software is based on a long-discontinued version of Volumio, which itself is based on a version of Debian that has long expired. Any versions of the TIDAL software are going to have been designed for more recent OSes, so iFi are stuck trying to make an unsupported OS work with the software.

I wasn't talking about users. I was referring to the software update delays. And yet some have no problems at all, while you may be correct with what you are saying it's far from the main cause as many many users have no such issues.
Just saying...
Cheers!!
