Don't get too excited about the high sample rates. Streaming Qobuz at high sample rates via Chromecast built-in is glitchy at best (streaming to a Naim Atom in my case). The most requested feature as it cover all streaming service much like airplay but higher sampling rate.
Only choice you have if you have iOS would be airplay. Amazon HD and Qoboz don’t have connect like Spotify so it relied on third party connection. What's the best way to connect Amazon HD to ZS?

I am in the camp that says these same questions that are asked here should be asked of the streaming provider you choose. After all if there is no "Connect" app for Qobuz than anything anyone streamer maker does is a workaround, so to speak.
In the case of Amazon HD with the Exception of Denon and Bluesound, they can barely stream HD to their own devices, and only a few allow HD or Ultra HD, (boy I hate those Terms, lol)
And yes I would have kept Amazon HD but the problems with Amazon and Mac were just silly and need to be corrected (Forgive me if they have been)
In regards specifically to Qobuz, I think a ton more pressure needs to be put on them to come up with a "Connect" option, after all it would be their doing, and then all would be right in the "HD" streaming world...
Cheers!!

Yes. And both will work in AIO mode. Note, you cannot use both to the same output. HQPlayer wants to “own” the output so if you bind for example the Zen USB port to HQ via NAA you can only use the coaxial as direct Roon endpoint. Shutoff HQ and you can then group Zen USB and Coaxial Roon endpoints and output concurrently to both.Just to be certain: Will Zen stream work both as Roon endpoint currently as well as HQPlayer endpoint (NAA)?
Will both work in the generic mode or only after switching to the dedicated modes?
Might try Zen stream once again with my new gear

Yes of course!Would ROON be helpful?
Audirvana as well, I would suggest getting a free trial for both and put them thru their paces!
See what is best for you! As a Roon subscriber I may be able to get you a code for an extended trial.
PM me if your interested and I will see for you!
I have been using Roon and the ZS since I got it with no issues!

...and I heard it's working with e.g Apple Music to forward to HQPlayer.
Will need to test if that is working also for Amazon Music HD...
Shouldn't that work through HQPlayer Qobuz streaming to Zen stream NAA mode?
Yes, that's another way to do it too.

It will work in AIO and in the Dedicated Roon mode!

Currently, there, unfortunately, isn't one. We are working on Chromecast.

A future big will see Airplay 2 come to the Stream, and give you guys even more options to work with higher sample rates!

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by glitchy? What experiences have you had with it?

Isn’t airplay 2 limited to 44.1/48khz?Yes, that's another way to do it too.

I understand that IOS devices currently use AAC over Airplay 2, not ALAC, even if the source was originally ALAC (or other lossless format). I’m sure you will do the due diligence, but be careful that ZS doesn’t disenfranchise those of us who are happy with Airplay 1 sending 16/44.1 to ZS from Apple Music source on iPhone or iPad.A future big will see Airplay 2 come to the Stream, and give you guys even more options to work with higher sample rates!
