Technically no, there is a lot that goes into making something Roon Ready! The bridge gets it close but not exactly.

many people have had connection issue with this product. IFI has tried to fix this with firmware updates. the Zen Stream was brought to the market half baked. god forbid if you should criticize IFI here, least you be tabled as a troll, so reactionary. it should not be incumbent upon the consumer to do their R&D for them. it has been lauded as "plug and play" could not be further from the truth. i have heard that IFI has "cleaned up" all the negative comments on a certain forum. while this product has great potential, the customer service by the company and a certain retailer in Singapore is woefully wanting. "loss of face" in Asia among some retailers in Asia is another problem that exacerbated my experience. its a cultural thing that has no place in the 21st. century where the customer is always wrong.

So, do I keep waiting for Chromecast ready firmware or I have to buy an ipad? 😊
I myself wish that was here already, not that I would use it personally but it certainly would make life easier for some, and sell a hell of a lot more units!!

I might have an iPad I'm not using in the back room! 🤣

I always though network gear should only be sold based on a minimum IQ score 🤣
like for geeks only, right? i was looking for something with no hassle. this is for Pi users not your average consumer who cares about music above all the techie stuff and who have a life. i agree IFI should put warning stickers on these "for the tech savvy" or "product still in Beta" had no idea what beta meant until now unfortunately. i have asked IFI to send me a working unit as an exchange. they responded by asking me to update to the latest firmware which i did to no avail. as far as i can see their are only two possibilities. 1. this is incompatible with my system which has already been troubleshooted on this forum or 2. their could be something inherently wrong with my sample god forbid. if it's the former please give me a refund, the latter please IFI please send me a replacement.

@rudy49 Bro, your posts are seriously getting sad at this point! It is not for techies, not in the least! In fact my wife uses mine quite a bit, even took it to her friends house to show them how it works with Spotify! Mind you my wife can barely find the Exit or back button on the TV remote!

I cannot even believe after all you have said here about the product you are now asking for a replacement!! In all seriousness...

Apple products are much more tailored to the life of a social/community manager and that, in all seriousness, was what got me considering the 13 Pro Max!

I made the commitment to switch from Android last week, and my unit should be here middle of October!

Come to the dark side with me, lifelong Android until now brother!

There's no iPhone to rival the screen and usability of my Note 20 Ultra 5G, even when it is 14 months old now. I'm invested in the Android ecosystem, apps and hardware around the house. Really disheartening to be able to select more than half dozen of devices to play Qobuz to but not the ZS 😊

Can't help myself with this one, I spent two months trying to help him....ARRGGGHHH!!

i appreciated you help but i have followed all your instructions and put quite a lot of effort to get this to work in a stable matter. this is not perfect and many agree that this is a work in progress, fine i understand this. but why rush it to market than? they could have spent a little more time in R&D and saved a lot of forum space, anxiety and grief. nothings perfect. but some things are less perfect than others. no help from IFI. probably should have bought a NODE, perhaps not as good sounding, but it just works. this has cost me already $200 in shipping and duty fee's. hardly a troll.
