What’s your source for the iDSD?

I generally leave it set to upsampled to 768khz via the GTO filter. Is that causing it to be in conflict when reading DSD512 files? I’m obviously doing something wrong since it’s natively supposed to read those DSD files. Any thoughts or guidance?

PCM data and GTO work aside DSD playback, so that's not a problem. If I were you, I'd probably try a different transport/player if possible. The odds are that your current transport doesn't send out DSD512 to Pro iDSD.

The Small Green Computer SonicTransporter i5 (streamer) and the Small Green Computer OpticalRendu (player).

I can't find any info on what sample rates your device supports.
But if you can only select up to DSD256 in Roon, then it is for sure due to your streamer.
I had the ifi ZEN Stream, which could also only up to DSD256, so I replaced it with a RasperryPi4.

Do you have a product page for this you can share to us? Maybe we can help you better with that. Thanks!

Is there any possibility to tighten the knobs? The Volume knob seems to be okay, but the Input and Filter knob are very loose. I found a little hole in the knob. Do I have to drill the screw inside? Thanks everybody...👍🏻
The volume knobs are tight enough cause they are engine controlled.

For source select:

Just be careful! If i remember right, you need a very small allen key. The screw is pointed inside and holds on a flat pole (source select f.e.). I think it's loose because of the multifunctionality or even worn out or a not that good component.

But yeah, found it a bit too loose too from my memories.

Is there a guide to get network streaming running? I connected the the Ifi via an ethernet cable and switched over the input to the "App" option. However, nothing shows up in the app mcontrol app when I go to add new devices.

Neither is Ifi visible as a Sound output target in the Tidal app — my other network devices are visible such as the chromecast ones.

Any guidance would be highly appreciated.
