Happy New Year!!!
And happy to see the new firmware. The Bit Perfect mode is great.

yes, I just installed mine. It’s out already?
Guys I just want to ask if it is normal that when I play pcm files, it is always displayed as DXD? This is after updating to the new firmware. No problem on MQA.
Edit: Just to add, this happens when GTO is the selected filter.
Foobar2000 with wasapi event. On other filters, PCM is appearing on the neo screen. Just on the GTO where PCM would appear as DXDWhat app are you using for playback?
For me, it appears to be normal, PCM is listed as PCM and the sampling rate and MQA is displaying as MQA in Tidal app.

I also notice choosing bit perfect, pcm files are displayed as “DXD”, not sure what that means.Guys I just want to ask if it is normal that when I play pcm files, it is always displayed as DXD? This is after updating to the new firmware. No problem on MQA.

I tried it now and it is like you said, I was using the bit perfect before and on that, it is listed as PCM.
Considering that DXD is still PCM but at a higher bitrate, it makes sense if the working mode is supersampling everything under 352kHz to 352/384 kHz.
I believe that this is the working principle of the filter.

DXD is 352kHz/384kHz content. So that's totally "normal".I also notice choosing bit perfect, pcm files are displayed as “DXD”, not sure what that means.
I am using hqplayer as playback app and upsample pcm files to 768k

Where can you buy the performance edition? The link that goes to Amazon doesn't appear to be any different than the normal NEO.

Gto filter is the one that came with the original neo, so we’ve always been using that.Think I'm going to be using the GTO for a while as ifi claims it's their best filter for transients. Will post updates later.
Anyone got some impressions on the filters yet?
Oh my bad. For a moment I was under the impression the default filter for previous firmwares was the current revision "standard" setting. Playing with them as we speak, I might also like bit-perfect a bit more than whatever the rest is doing.Gto filter is the one that came with the original neo, so we’ve always been using that.
I am now using the bp setting and are liking it so far. My preference is with dsd over pcm tho I kinda find it has a bit more smoothness overall

Based on sound too, it sounds bit perfect(1st firmware) and standard (2nd firmware) and not GTO to my ears.Oh my bad.
