If you've installed the driver it shows which firmware version you're currently using:What happens when you do a firmware update from perhaps.
7.0c to 7.2b.
The previous update upholds ? or just gets overwritten, Is there a way to check the log of the previous firmware installed for the device?
You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly.
You should upgrade or use an alternative browser.

No problem. You can upgrade back and forth. The existing will be completely replaced by the new one. Of note, when there is error message, just turn off the signature then on again before continuing. There you go.
Thanks ! just tried it out, Nice to know!
Confirming this to be correct - it completely replaces it!

Hi, I could not update the firmware because "iFiHDUSBAudio_dfuapp" says my device is not connected, but I my ifi xDSD signature is connected and working.
Any solution?

Are you using usb-c? The instructions say that you can't update over usb-c on a mac, but I found that it doesn't work on a pc either.Hi, I could not update the firmware because "iFiHDUSBAudio_dfuapp" says my device is not connected, but I my ifi xDSD signature is connected and working.

I know this might be silly, but did you actually turn your device on ? On my Nano BL, the device just had to be plugged in without having to turn it on and it would be detected. On the Signature, the knob has to be turned on.nope, im using the given usb-A cable. The ifi software just cannot detect my device.

Hey guys, I've been using this Audioquest cable for my Hip Dac for a while all good, but it doesn't work on Signature, my MacBook can't recognize it, could someone tell me why? And my another USB A to Type C cable also doesn't work on Signature, only the stock blue cable works, what's special with it? so strange.

The cable must be "OTG" capable for it to work with the Signature. You might check on that. I bought a generic OTG cable that works great.Hey guys, I've been using this Audioquest cable for my Hip Dac for a while all good, but it doesn't work on Signature, my MacBook can't recognize it, could someone tell me why?
