I believe it's one, but I'd have to double-check. Even if it's one, it still runs as a fully balanced chip.
I'll pass your feedback to our HQ, thanks!![]()
If really the Diable uses Burr-Brown DSD1793 chip DAC like the Pro iDSD top of the line, why can't do DSD1024 as the flagship model?

Our iDSD Diablo doesn't feature our FPGA chip that's responsible for DSD1024 and present in Pro iDSD.

Is there plan to a FPGA chip to a portable DSD1024 DAC/Amp?
And about NOS mode, any plan?

Interesting, so I now get myself thinking why send an extra device to clear power signal (extra company cost and less profit) if that could be done internally (probably cheaper) when the mains are not linked to the sound path.Ifi is saying that the mains (wall socket or power outlet) charge the built-in battery by which the unit is powered.

Anybody know how this compares to woo audio wa11?
Heres a new review on Diablo where the reviewer compares it to his DMP-Z1 ![K701 Smile :k701smile: :k701smile:](https://cdn.head-fi.org/e/headfi/k701smile.gif)

From everything I've read here, I really think is a great amp/dac and it had almost everything I was looking for as my next gear. But for one thing, one small thing, being unable to drive IEMs! (At least the main ones) What's the point in today's time in making something portable that can't be completely used with portable gear?
No one go on the Metro wearing a Diana Phi (i'm excludingthe crazy people that does so), but everyone uses IEMs on the go.
Sorry iFi, thst doesn't make sense to me.

lots of people including myself want a device powerful enough to allow me to take a diana phi or other inefficient HP's on the road with me...to visit parents...on vacation etcFrom everything I've read here, I really think is a great amp/dac and it had almost everything I was looking for as my next gear. Agree, but I'm pretty sure the real on the go market is much bigger and even though we have these needs of having something to bring somewhere, that doesn't mean the rest of the market should be left behind. Specially because iFi has had other products that could cover both needs.lots of people including myself want a device powerful enough to allow me to take a diana phi or other inefficient HP's on the road with me...to visit parents...on vacation etc
But they already have solutions for that, don’t they?Agree, but I'm pretty sure the real on the go market is much bigger and even though we have these needs of having something to bring somewhere, that doesn't mean the rest of the market should be left behind.
