Has someone test Susvara or 1266 TC?

I did with Susvara. Low gain 4.4 is best for me. Good sub bass extension and quantity. As long as u have a good upstream signal chain.

I have Susvara and the Diana Phi TC. It is able to easily drive both on balanced on standard or turbo depending on your listening levels.

Look forward to your thoughts and impressions on the pairing! I loved using the Diablo with my OG Clears when I had them.

Anyone else on MacOS noticing this loud buzz when changing tracks and sometime failure to play some tracks on Apple Music?

In Audio Midi Setup, when I set the Diablo to 32bit/768khz, Youtube stops playing sound out properly. Both the buzz and YouTube issues go away if I switch to 24bit/192khz. Buzz is still present with 384khz.

Am currently on 7.4c. Btw default in Audio Midi Setup was 48khz if I recall correctly...

@iFi audio posted the specs a little while back : Here
"iDSD Diablo's 4.4mm socket outputs 2 (SE) and 4V (Balanced), while its output impedance is 150 ohms per phase. Thanks!"
There is no SE output on Diablo (in a DAC mode) :relaxed:

You are correct. I would assume that the 2V SE figured referred to would be if the Diablo's balanced output was used in conjuction with a stereo XLR to RCA type adapter to feed an SE headphone amp say, which I believe would result in a halving of the voltage? I could be wrong though.

Tried it with Neumann active speakers yesterday - too loud / too much voltage. And you cannot adjust the volume. So you need a volume controller in between.
Probably ZEN DAC Signature V2 will work better with speakers since it has a variable voltage on the output + volume control knob.

@Soundizer

Covered already but....

The Diablo has an RRP of £899 in the UK (but can be found for £809 new if you shop around). That figure includes VAT at 20%. So the cost before tax is £750.

At today's exchange rates that equates to approx. $980 USD. So $20 USD cheaper than the US RRP, which as mentioned does NOT include tax.

TL;DR the UK isn't getting screwed by iFi when it comes to pricing.
