Here's what they wrote...

" The Rolls Royce of headphone amplifiers this has a ton of output power for even the most demanding headphones, an electrostatic energiser stage, valves and much much more. It can be used as a reference, or tailored to your liking, it really is all the headphone amp most will need."

Check out the review right here... READ!

On our site iCAN Phantom

Cheers!!

@iFi audio, could You please update this thread and as much as possible all other sources with the correct Application name - iFi Nexis? In most places on the internet App name is incorrect (iFi Nexus)

I like iFi Nexis App - it gives quite a lot of information about the Phantom + upgradability is always nice. I hope in the next Phantom updates You, guys, will fix the floating loudness level. It is a bit annoying to see after a couple of minutes 81-82 volume setting instead of 80, especially for people with OCD 😊

I am currently in the process of gathering all the appropriate apps for each of equipment into a table. I just need to submit it when finished to double-check myself and then I can post it in each thread or may just start its own, may be easier that way.

Thanks for mentioning it!

Cheers!!

is there anyone who has made a comparison between Phanton, Vioelectric v380, Burson (soloist or voyager) and some speaker amplifiers (maybe amp-23R, abh2 benchmark, topping la90d) using only Hifiman Susvara?

I want to know if this phaton will amplify my susvara at the maximum level of dynamics, layering and bass CONTROL please. A review where only says "sounds very good" doesn't tell me nothing about susvara on phanton.

I am afraid about ifi specs after the problem with ifi diablo. I really want to know if those 15,000mW at 16 ohms are RMS or Peak (clipping). Susvara needs about 100mA over 5.5volts at 60 ohms to produce 110spl. A lot of amplifiers have to much current at high voltage but not at low voltage. I hope somebody could tell me..

Phantom is better than the violectric and burson.

There's no problem with the specs including the diablo 2. You only need 200mw for the Susvara.

are you serious? you only care the watts and not "how much" of that watts are by current and "how much" by voltage. Ok, I will drive my susvara with a tempotec dap, it has more than 200 mW!!!
Let's clip my eardrums!

Well no amp advertises its current limits on a range of resistance levels. A Go Blu drives the Susvara with very good bass at above proper listening levels with something demanding like Cradle to Grave and doesn't clip. Diablo 2 and Phantom has more power than a Go Blu.

From a versatility standpoint or through specific testing and measurement with the Susvara? Especially versus the Voyager or is that speculation, the Voyager cannot be used with electrostatics but is an extremely good amplifier. I'm just wondering as I have the opportunity to purchase a Phantom.

I prefer the phantom over the Voyager with the Susvara

That’s ok personal preference I get it. I was able to hear both with two great Dacs, thanks.

Yea. If you like less bass and less tight bass, go for the Voyager.
We didn’t see that using the playback design Dac but if that’s what you heard with your ears super. Both are excellent amplifiers the IFi is much more versatile, but they’re both very clean and both have well defined bass. XBass helps with bass power, I find with upright bass it changes texture, it probably is great with electronica. The Voyager seem to have slightly better tonality with woodwind. I play sax and it seemed to edge the IFI in tone and separation. Three headphones we used were Atrium, Susvara and. He1000se (also a little bit with pre fazed Audeze lcd 3) Sometimes I prefer the iFi sometimes we preferred the voyager can’t go wrong with either. The Deluxe Voyager worked well as a preamp. Glad you like your IFI rig can’t go wrong with either. Happy listening again this is my opinion doesn’t”t mean it’s right. Some folks regard their opinion as gospel I don’t…
