iFi audio GO pod + IEMs = brilliant wireless sound on the GO!

I agree with you: go pod and rn6 are a great match. And the fit is just perfect for me with them.
@twister6 , thank you so much for your very good review and I am glad you have enjoyed the GO Pod!
A few observations:
A few observations:
- I purchased my GO Pod from the iFi website in the UK as a standalone product. I have received only 2 connectors, the 0.78mm 2pin and MMCX. Perhaps you should add this to your review.
- Thank you for confirming that LDAC works on your Samsung Galaxy S22. I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and LDAC 990/909kbps functions absolutely flawlessly, without any disconnections or sound quality loss inside my entire property, a house with 3 floors. I have never faced any issue while using the GO Pod outdoors, either, but I admit I’m not exactly living downtown Hong Kong. Have you set and tested LDAC at 990/909kbps? This point is important because there are some people who are spreading false claims, otherwise known as pure BS, regarding LDAC not properly working or being crippled on Samsung smartphones. A quick glance on some recent posts on the FiiO UTWS5 thread will let you understand what I mean.
- Thanks so much for bringing to my/our attention that the GO Pod can charge even with the case lid open! My IMR Elan+ do not allow the lid to close completely and comfortably. I have now left the case lid open and I can confirm that the case LEDs, as well as the lights, go off after a minute or two, whereas the ear-hooks' lights remain steady red for the entire time the lid is open. The case can charge with the lid open, as well.
- You’ve posted a photo of how they fit on you. Is it possible, please, to post a photo of the side of your head? If not, do they fit like shown on Sebastien and agrosash photos? On my ears, the GO Pod fits perfectly with all my IEMs, shown in my signature.

- What is the model of the DAC on the GO Pod? We know that it uses a dedicate Cirrus Logic 32bit DAC chip but can you let us know the exact model?
- What is the exact IPX rating?

Excellent stuff, thank you very much for this detailed review!

Thanks for asking and I'll ask internally about that, but it's likely that we won't share this info.
What is the exact IPX rating?
I'll ask about that too, unless @Mr BubbaHyde already has the answer.

Just updated my review. The package I received came with 3 pairs of earhook adapters, all 3 were listed as included in the packaging on the box (as you can see in unboxing pictures), and I was told it is standalone model. Now, while talking to my readers and also Bloom Audio, they confirmed that Pentaconn ear connector doesn't come standard. So, there is a discrepancy and I made it clear in my review not to mislead others who are going to expect Pentaconn earhooks for their Elysian Audio iems.
Also, added a side view so others can see how it fits. Controls are easy to reach.

I see! Why unlikely, though? Well, I can hope, but if you're not feeling particularly proud about this specific component selection, we can understandThanks for asking and I'll ask internally about that, but it's likely that we won't share this info.

The pentaconn connectors may not be standard, but stand-alone Go Pod units with all three connector types do exist out there. I recently received a replacement Go Pod unit for the original one that I had purchased in April as part of a bundle. As far as I remeber I believe they are IPX 5 rated.Excellent stuff, thank you very much for this detailed review!

I think you've received a new GO Pod with 3 types of connectors because you've initially purchased a bundle. The pentaconn connectors may not be standard, but stand-alone Go Pod units with all three connector types do exist out there. Why would iFi want to keep the identity of the chip for the DAC hidden, and maybe I missed it but why would they not be proud of it? Most companies are usually pretty transparent about the identity of the DAC used.I see! Why unlikely, though? And that begs the question… How many of these Go Pod units packaged with all 3 connectors does iFi have sitting in their warehouses and what do they plan to do with them? iFi would stand to benefit from increased customer satisfaction by making all 3 connector types standard with every Go Pod unit.I think you've received a new GO Pod with 3 types of connectors because you've initially purchased a bundle.

I can’t imagine the unwillingness on iFi’s part to share details of the DAC used is due to not wanting their competitors to find out. A competitor could purchase a Go Pod, disassemble it and see what’s inside. Must be some other reason to keep the details hidden from Go Pod users.I see! Why unlikely, though? Exactly!
iFi Audio do not have any reason to hide the model of the DAC chip!
Perhaps you should ask @iFi audio then why do they say that "it's likely that we won't share this info"...

@Mr BubbaHyde , @iFi audio , @nedplimpton , @AJ DiMambro , @a.w.bailey Any chances to have earhook adapters compatible with the JH Audio 7-pin connectors?
I wonder if it could be custom made?

Excited to buy one but the Go Pod is out of stock everywhere it seems and I'm not seeing them pop up on the used market. I guess that is a good sign!
