I don’t think iFi can implement these changes without increasing the price of the Go Pod by a large amount. For a Go Pod user like me all I want is for the Go Pod to have great sound quality and simple functions.

The only device I will ever use the Go Pod with is my DAP. I don’t care for multi-point connection and I have no intention to use the Go Pod for calls. If iFi implements these changes and raise the price they would lose a customer like me who is not going to pay for something where half of the functions are not useful for me.
First of all, no, I don't think that would increase the price. As I understand from this post here, Go Pod already can store multiple connection profiles. If one doesn't work, it tries the next one. So, it doesn't need to connect to all devices at the same time but just try connecting to them when it is requested.

Before going that hyper sensitive about what another user might ask from a company, maybe it is better to cool down first and understand where it is going, and if it is at all feasible and if it has any negative effects like the price.

You may not any of these features but I do, and there are others I know that would find it useful.

Good to know!

I have yet to try my Fiio FH5 but was going to this week at some point.

Cheers!!
Here is a recent review of the Go Pods tested with the Advars. He seemed impressed with the combo, and said in his review they weren't as warm as other Meze's which was kind of what put me off. Don't get me wrong, that combo still sounds terrific, just I prefer the FH7's.

Has anyone compared the sq of the Go pod via LDAC to the Fiio BTR7 in wireless-LDAC mode using the same iem's?

I have a few times as I own both. I very rarely use the BTR7 now.
For me the Go Pods offer a more refined sound experience with my earphones

The BTR7 has more bass however it is not as well controlled as the Go Pods

.....just my opinion though, I know others hear it differently

I only use LDAC for some years now as it's sounds like a charm with my sources WM1A and Z Fold 4. I own and use BTR7, Go Blu and Go Pod for one month with mostly a Sony IER-M9.
1) For sound quality I would rate my sources like Go Pod < Go blu << BTR7 (offers deeper lower frequencies/better impacts even with a full BA IEM like the IER-M9)

2) For day time at office Go Blu < BTR7 < Go pod (cable free and SQ is already clearly better than any of my LDAC TWS)

3) For reading in a bed or sleeping ... Go Pod is strictly unusable with the head on the side on a pillow <<< BTR7 too bulky and too short playing time < I would say only the Go Blu is fully usable.

I also used sometimes these last 2 months some Xelento, Ze Tian Wu, HA-FW1800, XBA-N3.. but, actually, the IER-M9 became my sound quality reference for tone/timbre and it is used for all my personal testing, though other IEMs can be more addictive when I am in a real bass-head mood.

Took my gopods around using a few different f my setups and started stressed testing:

Good news: They sound great, have great battery life, can drive pretty much anything in my lineup, and provide a bit of extra slam and sparkle to the sound. The ear hooks are also quite comfy for me and work well with my glasses. The adapters included are nice additions.

Bad news: I wish the case was less chonky. I wish the touch controls actually worked. I wished there was transparency mode. I wished we could select how much sensitivity - some IEMs can do with more or less drive, auto detection is not perfect.

The overall: I’m dropping the rest of my wires for this setup. Practicality comes first for me these days.

We'll see how they do long term :)

I work in product development for a consumer electronics company. Any time we discuss enhancing features the first topic that gets brought up is always the potential price opportunities that these enhancements can bring so we can make more profit. It’s foolish to think that a company would be willing to sacrifice their bottom line for the sake of the consumer.

And I work as a freelancing development engineer, with 20+ years for both hardware and software, for countless products, consumer and non-consumer, and I am sure even you used a product that has my work in.

It is just foolish to act such selfishly when someone asks about a feature. It is not a question for you. I don't give a crap about what you want and what you don't want. It is not you that should evaluate what I ask for, and it is not you that that should decide what other should want and need. If @iFi audio comes out and say that it is going to increase the cost, speak up against it. Until than just learn to listen to what other potential customers would want.

By the way, I am a customer that doesn't care about the price but how much it suits my use case. I am a consumer in the market as much as you are and have every right to ask what I feel is beneficial for me.

...auto detection is not perfect.
This is what I am suspecting, too. My IMR Elan+ sound off, when it comes to treble and upper midrange. They sound perfect with my Mojo 2 and almost perfect with my BTR7.

I have already opened a ticket inquiring about how this auto-detection works and if it would be feasible, in the future firmware update, to have a setting: Auto-detection: OFF.

No response, yet...

Is there something wrong with your Customer Service? Are your Reps on strike? Are they all on annual leave? Have they, perhaps, resigned, altogether?!

I'm asking because I've asked about the interior dimensions of the case, since July 2. No response, yet...
I've also opened a ticket regarding this auto-detection of the impedance, since 10 July 2023 12:54 pm BST. No response, yet...
Do you have any reply about the IPX rating?
How about the model of the DAC used inside the GO Pod?

No response?...

What's going on?

Chill the *** out dude. Same goes for you… Not you that should decide what others should want or need. You are free to express your needs and wants in a product and the same goes for me.

Then stop responding hysterically to people's messages that are not for you.

At least there's ignore button made against people acting like you.

Has anyone tried the Go Pod out with any Noble Audio IEMs?

I would much appreciate your thoughts on the fit and comfort of such combination.
They sound outstanding with Ronin. Fit for me, is perfect. I can wear them for several hours without any discomfort. Ronin are already chunky but no issues with my ear type/shape and they fit the case just right.

Just got my pair and my FiR bunny is happy 😀. Stable max LDAC connection with the sr35. I like what I am hearing. Really wanted a pair for upcoming holidays but too late available in my region. German dealer to the rescue 😀.

I have not gotten any responses to the "case dimension" question

In regard to the "auto" detection this has been reported and listened to, and consideration of a way to change this in the app is underway, nothing to report as to "if" or "when" this may happen.

The IPX rating is 5 as I reported earlier, I have gotten no response to indicate this is not correct.

The model of the DAC also remained silent, perhaps this will not ever come out, I have no comment on how questions like this are deemed for "answering" so perhaps I will leave it with "Support from now on" as I cannot seem to get answers quick enough for you.

Consideration must be given to "Ticket priority" and Unanswerable or Unwillingness to answer any of my questions, sometimes there is a "secret sauce" so to speak.

Cheers!!
