Thank you, please tell me one last thing. That "thinner" area on the GO Pod connector, does it go inside the IMR connector a little bit or it does not go in at all?.
yeah, I pushed them in as hard as I felt it was safe to do, but I could not close the gap

Just tell me if you can insert it a little bit, I'm referring to the thinner area, or not.
If it can be inserted a little bit, it will mean that the IEM can be more securely kept in place.
PS: I do not understand why iFi does not provide a recessed connector, as well

Are recessed connectors that common? I follow the IE600 thread on head-fi and have looked into the IE600. It seems like there is a significant amount of complaints about Sennheiser using a recessed mmcx socket which limits 3rd party cable options for the IE series. I’m sure iFi did their research and made a design that would fit the most common/popular connection types. It's okay, thank you, no need to go into such trouble

These work with the IE600, I reached out to iFi before I bought them. If you get a set that does not work, they will send you new mmcx cables as the first batch was not fully compatible.
Not sure, never researched the matter. I know that I need the GO Pod to hold my Elan+ because this is the reason I bought it. I think everything will be fine, though. I trust @jsmiller58 when he says his IMR (I forget the model) snug firmly. Its socket looks like mine. I am new to IMR, as well. Furthermore, I've already asked @Mr BubbaHyde in a PM about if a custom recessed ear-hook is available, at which cost and ETA.Are recessed connectors that common?

I have not gotten a direct answer yet, the question was forwarded for me to a department that could speak better to it.Oh, really? I was not aware of that, first time I am buying anything iFi.
My order was placed on the 20th of June, at around 17:30 UK time. It is still on "Processing".
The notification email said: Please be aware that our current handling time for processing orders is 1-5 business days.
I hope I will receive my Go Pod as soon as possible. I realize I cannot complain since they are informing about the timescales.
I also want to believe that the Go Pods are in stock.
PS: @Mr BubbaHyde if you have any response regarding my PM (compatibility with the IMR Elan+), please post the answer here for everyone to see![]()
I will follow up!
Cheers!!

One more question, @Mr BubbaHyde or anyone else:
Can the ear-hooks be molded, can they change shape a bit? I mean, if the fit is not optimal. They are wery stiff and unmoldable. Do not know If they can be heated a bit an molded…?
The ear hooks is very stiff, and not moldable. They immediately go back to original form if you try to mold them. Possibly they can be heated and molded?? The 2-pin is the recessed type, not flush. One more question, @Mr BubbaHyde or anyone else:

The stiffness of the ear hooks is also a problem with regards to charging the pods in the case. With certain IEM's they will lift the pods of the charging pins. Even if the case is big I think it should hav been at least 5mm deeper to compensate for bigger IEM's.
I actually got a little sore in my right ear canal because I had a hard time getting the right fit with the IEM's. Also on me the hooks is immediately uncomfortable over my ear. I really really hope for som softer, more pliable ear hooks!

What do you mean by this, please? Can you elaborate? What do you mean by "the 2-pin is not flush"?
The recessed type 2 pin will work on IEM's with or without recessed connection.
I see, okay, thank you ![Headphone Smile :) :)](https://cdn.head-fi.org/e/headfi/smily_headphones1.gif)
From the photos you've posted, I understand that the GO Pod 2-pin is a recessed pin with a groove. From what I can see, this should normally fit all the way into the socket of my Elan+ but I will have to wait for a few more days to check this, myself.
