iFi audio GO pod + IEMs = brilliant wireless sound on the GO!

Anyone using the go pod with Mest MK2 ? i find the case not closing with these and that sucks
I know this is not ideal, but what about when the ear tips are removed? Or is it just the physical size of the IEM that's preventing closing?

This has been brought up internally with the possibility of other cases, although nothing has been set into motion.

I will mention these as a pair along with the issue.

Cheers!!

Well, it happened to me with CA Solaris and the Mest , I will try without ear tips when I can, for the next go pod iteration you should really consider two bumps where the iems are located , a few mm should be enough

I will pass this along as well, good thought.

I remember we got a ton of heat in the beginning for the case being too large, so that idea is a solid one! :L3000:

Just got the go pods. Paired them with my westone w80. They do sound good and stay in my ears nicely. Was going to upgrade the firmware but after seeing the problems am thinking about waiting a bit until the download issues are worked out. Is there a reason to upgrade the firmware now when everything is working fine. I have them paired to my s23 ultra

I’m of like mind! As I reported earlier I live in Apple’s “walled garden” and I’m really reluctant to try to use my Apple devices to try a firmware upgrade. I just hope Apple’s OS and/or iOS updates don’t kill my Go Pods before a more user friendly software for Go Pods get released.

Just updated my Pods with my iPhone 11 and had no issues, working fine.

It is important to keep in mind these updates are specific as listed here right on the download page...

This took about 3-4 minutes, make sure you are using the proper GAIA version for your device, and updating with the proper BIN file from our download hub.

Hope this helps...

Here is the notes for the upgrade from 1.52 to 1.54 from the update log.

So you can decide for yourself. See my post above this one and update craefully using the proper GAIA App for your particular device.

Cheers!!

Would that be the right moment to mention that iOS update 1.2.7 is still to no avail?
It certainly would!

This is what community is for, I will check on this for you although my initial thought is that this is a typo, and needs to be corrected.

I used 1.2.5 And this is fine.

Thanks for pointing it out, and as you see I made a mistake if I had read carefully enough I may not have done the update. So if anyone would like to wait until I get confirmation I would completely understand it.

Thanks for pointing it out.

Cheers!!

Don’t believe the FW update procedure is any different between the two versions. App functionality is limited in 1.2.5.

Having trouble with my Go Pods and trouble finding a solution I think is somewhere earlier in the thread (sorry, but my search-fu wasn't strong enough).

After successful updates to the Gaia app and Go Pods firmware, my right go pod is flashing green and red (factory reset), whereas the left one is fine. What's the fix?

Someone else just had this issue, best bet is to fill out a ticket as soon as possible.

There might be an issue with the older GAIA App and the new firmware, support will get you sorted out.

Sorry for the trouble...

Cheers!!

I'll submit a ticket, but I did update the Gaia app (and restarted the phone) prior to applying the firmware update.
