I would be extremely happy, if people would send links to usage cases, preferably black leather. Needs to be sendable to Fennoscandia.

I would use the bar with the phone on my shorts pocket during walking excercices, so it would be important that these products won’t scratch each other.

A few pages back in this thread folks pointed to AliE for the cases they have, don't know if this will work for you but heres the link I had...

Important question to Ifi representatives:

Are you able to add media controls (next song, playback and previous song control) by software upgrades?
I would not think this is possible at the moment, but I will ask, and if the answer is any different I will post it here.

Cheers!!

Please let us know how it works out for you if you can! Impressions and comparisons are always appreciated!

Cheers!!
I have now tested the Go bar and it drives easily Meze Liric headphones and Itsfit Lab Fusion IEMs. It’s great companion in outdoor activities!

Only thing is that I’m bass head and the bass isn’t that punchy than Gryphon, therefore I need to EQ some more. It’s awesome that I now can have phone calls with it and attach it to iCan Pro (and also have work phone calls with it in my home office). And with iCan I can boost some more punchy bass. :L3000:

I have been on the fence between Go and Gold, but today I realized that even the Go was quite heavy in the 7 km walking excercise, when it bounces against my leg (the USB-C cable is too stiff that the Go bar doesn’t fit to the shorts pocket). I know that the Gold is better based on reviews and peoples experiences, but also that it’s more than double the weight.

Nevertheless, should I still try the Gold version?

I need to have more flexible cable so that I can put the Go/Gold bar in the pocket with the phone. Do any USB-C to C cable work with the device? Any recommendations?

You are not going to be happy with any device in your use case if a Go Bar is to heavy, the thing only weighs 28 grams !

Both might work if the usb-c cable bends so that the phone and bar fits besides in the pocket.

I love the Go Bar but it is difficult to use on the move with a phone. The USB cable sticks out one end and the headphone jack faces the wrong way if you try to slide the rig into your pocket with the usb-c cable facing up (so it isn't twisted by the weight of the phone pushing down on it). Things were workable in the winter when wearing a jacket with larger pockets, but not so much now with warming weather. Most recently I've been using with the phone slid in a pocket and the USB cable and GoBar hanging out loose.

I considered a right angle usb-c cable but that doesn't seem to help (though a 10" - 12" cable with one right angle connector could be the answer). I am currently using a FiiO LT-TC1 cable which is a bit longer which allows a loop without a crimp. It also has connectors that fit a bit more firmly than the iFi stock cable.

If anybody has any tricks to make a Go Bar/phone combo a little more pocketable...please share!

Hello, does anyone here use the GOld Bar with the lastest iPhone Pro lineups? I get times when the Go Bar turns off my 14 Pro Max when I leave it without playing anything but it happens like 1/5 times. I have to force restart the phone when this happens. Make a continuous buzzing sound when the phone turns off. I think the Go Bar restarts and sometimes it bricks the iPhone that it turns off.

Yes, that's exactly the issue. The USB-C pin also bends so much that the songs stops frequently.

The most stable solution might be some 180 angled USB-C adapter, ideally with lightning at the other side.
There are such adapters for at least USB-C at both sides on Alliexpress but looking at the limited choice of even normal usb c to lightning adapters working with the Go Bar I don't have high hopes that the angled ones will work
