That is exactly how they sound
If you like the fast and clean sound, I recommend you to try listening the electrostatic headphones. They have the high fidelity compare with dynamic headphones.they are great, i even changed my nickname here on the forum because of them, they are fast and clean

why so expensive?HIFI MAN? emmm I think the best headphone of HIFIMAN's produce is the SHANGRI-LA. It sounds very amazing.
I met Fang Bian only the once in Shenzhen,China. He thinks that only if the price of SHANGRI-LA is expensive, HIFIMAN can be a match for Sennheiser.(Sennheiser HE 1)why so expensive?

from various impressions they match the sennheisers only by the price
I can't agree more. Although I like the SHANGRI-LA, but it is too expensive. However, Fang Bian said that there is a baby SHANGRI-LA electrostatic headphone will be on sale and it's price is reasonable. But he has not post the price and the release date of baby SHANGRI-LA. Maybe the baby SHANGRI-LA is still little expensive.from various impressions they match the sennheisers only by the price

I’m on the fence. Saw both the HF5 and the er4XR on sale locally where I live.
The HF5 is significantly cheaper and comes with the inline mic which I dig but I think I would appreciate the XR better for the added bass. Decisions decisions.

P.S. I have hf3 and ER4SR. hf3 stays with my phone and ER4SR stays with my DAP. ER4XR would be better used with a dedicated music source. If you are using with your phone, hf3 is a good alternative, but lacks the dynamic sophistication of the XR.
