I do tons of research including the oluv gadgets, I don’t think there is any iem cam complete with ety with that sales at Adorama
Agree, adorama sells new that's even cheaper than the etys sold in headfi marketplace. Lol

I ordered the er3xr. Wondering to order er2se or not
At their price, they should be part of collectibles. Next year I am planning to buy the 2xr and 3se so I have all the new ety line up.

I have a HD6xx for home use, lets see how detail a 2SE can be and be true to the original recording when it arrives :sunglasses:
ER2SE is more detailed as it can create this continuous musical fabric which HD6xx can't unless you push volume way-way high.

Question to those who have heard or own more than one, which is the most analytical and which one has the most bass?

ER2SE can do higher bass boosts than the HD6XX and doesn't seem suffer from smearing/clarity loss from driver being faster decay wise and not deform from stress, That many full size headphones suffer from. But then again the DT 770 & K712 seem to beat the HD6X0 line up if EQ'd to be flatter and can handle more bass than the Senn's which is why ignore THD to judge sound quality. Also it funny how ER2XR is hyped for it bass yet the driver is only 5.8mm, By some that told me IEM's need 9 ~ 13.5mm if dynamic.

Yesterday I received a balanced cable I bought from Lunashops, Aliexpress for my Er4xr. It was this one https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005001518151913.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.741063c0afjKLF
First I was happy to see that the mmcx connectors fit in the Eys with no problem at all and the fit seems very secure and does not move at all. Unfortunatelly the cable is very stiff, really rigid. This makes the set very uncomfortable to use since it introduces strain and tends to move the Etys inside the ear and makes over ear use rather difficult. It is also in this condition very microphonic. Unless I find a solution to make the cable more flexible, any ideas?, I think this is going to be a bad purchase. Sound seems to be ok but..
I must streess the connectors are perfectly fine but never choose this type of cable!

I have had a pair of ER-4Ps for nearly 15 years now...mostly gathering dust. While very accurate, I found them to be sterile and lifeless.

On a whim, I snagged a pair of 2XRs. They were meant to be my deep insertion/stay in place beater pair for exercising. But they are fantastic, and have exceeded my expectations in almost every way. I just can't get over their resolution - let alone for their price. And their timbre is spot on for me - with no EQ necessary.

I was so impressed, that I had to snag a pair of ER-4XRs. I couldn't pass up the Adorama deal at $139. Delivery was supposed to be yesterday, but after a full day of refreshing the UPS delivery status like a drunk monkey, now they are supposed to be delivered tomorrow 😠

Now my hope is that they are closer to the 2XRs, vs the 4Ps...

I have opened the search request from usps, I hope they can find my ER2 quickly....
