Same here. I mean with a huge acoustically treated room+huge expensive speakers+expensive sources, etc you can't go wrong with speakers. They're better to listen to if space, neighbours and money aren't an issue.

1 of each Grado headphones, all recabled with Carda
A pair of B&W Nautilus 800, or one of those DIY horn systems
All the CDs+SACDs I can find that i like.

yeah i probably would spend some of that money on Audio =P

PC rig: modded EMU0404 -> some kind of optical cable -> modded Musical Fidelity X-Dac v3 -> a valve headphone amp of some sort / maxed out Dynahi -> Grado SR-225 Woodies, Sony CD-3000 Woody with HP1000 drivers, AKG K501s recabled to dual mono.

Dont know jack **** about Dedicated Sources (CD players/SACD players etc) so id probably just get someone to choose one for me

Portable Righ: Sony D-777 modded to use more powerful batteries -> Custom ICs -> Ray Samuels SR-71 -> Grado SR-225 Woodies

then donate the rest to the Tsunami cause!
