I would like a WA5 the most. I hear it pairs awesome with beyers....

I wish there was a contest to win this amp :(

I know it is not the best out there but for me, if I need to pick only one amp out of all the amps that I heard so far, it will be Headroom Desktop Millett Hybrid Amp. I am glad that I had a chance to purchase one from used market since Headroom no longer offers it.

Someone likes bumping his dead thread... All right, I'll bite, since I have a new amp since my post.

It would be though to choose between the Cavalli Audio EHHA Rev. A and the Hagerman Castanet. I guess I will still go with the Castanet.

The EHHA has:
  1. Better speed and resolution.
  2. Higher gain which helps a lot with my ortho.

The Castanet has:
  1. The SET "magic" which adds some sweetness to the music, if at the cost of some resolution.
  2. Better soundstage. (The EHHA is still good, but it's hard to beat pure hollow state on this)
  3. The 6H30 tube shines nicely (it's outside, while the EHHA's 6GM8 are inside, though I have windows to look at them).
  4. Won't kill the headphones I leave plugged in on start-up. (very important, since my grado is my main headphone).

Wow, it's ironic. Or maybe it's kismet. I made that statement in July last year and I now have both. If I had to live with only one amp, I'd choose the b22. It's an amazing amp.
