I haven't had many headphones in the past, but I find my Superluxes to be wonderful for me.
Some songs I have to turn down the treble down a little bit/are harsh to listen to (usually albums that are victims of the loudness war, though) and I would prefer a bit more bass, but asides from that they're perfect.
However; I need an upgrade, and that upgrade is the DT990 Pro.
One thing that worries me a bit is the treble since it's apparently a bit higher than the Superluxes, but executed better apparently? and I can always turn the treble down a bit.
I listen to a WIDE variety of music, will some Lo-Fi music sound too harsh on the DT990?
Long story short - if I love my Superluxes, will I love the DT990 Pro?

PS. How do the headphones sound unamped? I might rent them and want to know if they sound decent/if it will give me an idea of the sound if I rent them before I get the amp.
