Hey,
I new to this forum. I hope to give you as much information as possible.
I own an Ipod touch and an Ipod 5.5 80 GB. My fiels are usally 256/320 kb/s.
I mainly listen to Alternative rock, but sometimes Hiphop is played on my Ipod aswell. So I'm looking for an all round IEM.
My Budget is max 80$.
I thought of the re0 or the 6i.

My vote goes to the Klipsch S4's as well. I may have better at hand, but I'll never be without my S4's. They gave me my first "Eargasm", so they hold a special place in my heart/ears.

I'd stay away from both RE0 and 6i for your music styles. My vote is for Fischer Audio Eterna/Silver Bullet

I have the S4s and I love the way my alternative music sounds from them.  They are pretty versatile so my vote would be for the Klipsch as well.  I also hear the SB and Eterna's are really good but haven't had the chance to try them myself...yet

RE0s are great for alternative rock and don't really do anything else wrong particularly badly except bass heavy music.  Don't listen to hip hop but I can't imagine them being good at that.

bleh it says the S4's have limited upper-treble, I am a treble addict, what are the best treble-centric IEM's around $80 for alternative rock / classical / electronica?  help.

Does really great with electronic and alt rock.  Makes those genres fun to listen to.  Classical on the S4s isn't as good as some other IEMs but it is not bad either.

They are pretty bassy, with the right tips, some equalization, and some amping. They don't lack bass in any way IMO, they are just balanced and some people aren't used to its signature.
