I found the IE8 on eCost. The price has gone back up again but for the past two weeks it has been fluctuating between $400 and $230 if you wait a couple days it should go back on sale.

Does anybody know where I can get the Shure 530's for around $200? Someone made it appear as if you could find them for around this price. It seems to me like you can't but I could be wrong.

i've seen the shure se530 on the sale/trade forum often. you might want to keep checking there.

Both are good phones .I would go for the triples, better isolation , less bass colouring but a more powerful focused  bass and brighter sparkly energetic treble and not as thick and warm sounding as the ie8
