Today I noticed that iBasso's website - http://www.ibasso.com/- has gone down with a message that the account is suspended.

Anyone know what's going on? Is this the end of iBasso?

Out of interest why do you think so? The message is that the account has been suspended - not that it's out for maintenance, or the ISP is down which often (but not always) suggests something more. My DX300 was stolen and I'm looking to get another off the insurance but may be nervous at the potential lack of support if iBasso have problems. I can't find any mention one way or another online - I'd expect a message somewhere from them that it's just a glitch. I do hope they are ok.

Even before suspension, iBasso website was kinda a mess. I keep getting malware warning from Chrome browser, then the some of the latest firmware can only be found on the Chinese page that was hiding behind the English pages. I end up using Opera browser with VPN in order to download what I need. Hmm...

Thanks - I'd be fascinated to know the story behind this. The ibasso.cn site is still up so maybe they have different hosts. All quite odd.

It's probably far more mundane than you think it is. Outdated credit card or transitioning to a new host most likely.

The site's back, and as far as I can recall the previous one it's a redesign. Even so someone cocked up not to even have a holding page.
