No, we have our own engineers for headphones and design. These were designed by us.

I loved SR1 and regret to have parted with it, good thing to drop the MMCX connector for the SR2 though. I feel the SR2 is calling me

Crinacle has measured both versions. The SR1 was warm/dark whereas the new one looks like a somewhat lean electrostatic tuning:

From memory SR2 is clearer sounding than SR1 but the same linear philosophy, a very elegant sounding headphone... need to burn in now and enjoy, good to take a rest from IEMs sometimes
