Yes, absolutely! iBasso SR2 is a high-sensitivity headphone, it can be powered by a normal phone/computer. The most important factor for a high-sensitivity headphone like the SR2 is that the noise floor of your source is low enough that the headphones do not pick up noise.

I haven't heard the HP3, but I think you're looking at two relatively different sound signatures. From what I've read anyways.
You mean SR2 is more linear and has less bass than HP3?

Yes, the SR2 does an outstanding job of balancing weight and details. Most headphones I've tried lean in one direction or the other. I'm using mine with the Shanling M6 Pro, that you helped me decide on - Thank you 👍
