So I am looking to buy the DCA E3, any idea would N7+PB5 be able to drive them properly?
I tried the Stealth yesterday and it was loud enough at high gain, but I prefer my ADI as an amp

Considering the Stealth is 23 ohm and approximately sensitivity of 86-87 dB/mW, the fact that the PB5 being a portable battery powered device can drive them is very impressive!

A lot of desktop Amplifiers would struggle with that load and sensitivity.

The E3's are easier to drive being 27 ohm and approximately sensitivity of 90 db/mW.

As a comparison, the PB5 can drive my Hifiman HEKV2 (Non Stealth) exceptionally well, even at very high volume. They are 35 ohm and sensitivity of 90 db/mW

That is correct! Just wanted to say the Stealth was loud enough for me but the synergy was not there. The N7 and PB5 sounds spectacular with every IEM I've thrown at it yet :) I have to check the KK which seemed to dislike the DX314 in a manner similar to the Stealth.

On another note, I just tried the Andro 2020 with the SR35xPB5 combo and found no hiss, wonderful! It seems the notorious Andro hiss a thing of the past with most current gear :)

Or my hearing for worse!

PB5 is amazing with tube timbres and add some touches of analogues into the source such as 320M. However, it shines much better when used with D16. Much better depth/holographic and dynamic ranges.

This is just a head up to many instances that the PB5 is very capable amplifier, though as an amplifier, it relies a lot on the quality of the source, the better the source is the better the amplified result.

No, this is not a bash toward 320M, it is just a reality and a fact that the D16 as a newer generation of engineering and enthusiasm from Ibasso as a product, it is just a better device with a perceivable better performances. I have came through many times that I would say coming from upgraditis and Side Grade… I was very very surprised that as good as Dx320M, Ibasso could still improve upon with perceivable improvements

If you have been enjoying 320M/PB5 , you may want to also give D16 a try , you may enjoy it as much as I do

Hey guys. What would be a good upgrade cable to replace the stock 4.4mm to 4.4mm cable? I think I would like to try something silver.

I use the ddHiFi BC44B cable and am very happy with it

Thank you @WarrenS. What difference do you hear between it and the stock?
