Ok, thanks.
So I'm gonna stay with the standard cable.

HI @Ido77,

The stock cable is more than fine to exceptional as most have already said though if you're curious to try, I suggest the following in your price range :

Null Audio Arete Series MK III
VEClan VE 8 Wire Cable
VEClan Junkosha Silver 8 Wire Cable

Tuning wise, there isn't a whole lot of difference with stock vs the above suggested cables.
Personally & subjectively, comes down more to a comfort (Arete is the most comfortable among the 3 cables) for me though the sound is still very enjoyable.

For IT 04, I actually use the CB 13.

Hope you have a great day !

Agree with the above . The IT04 punches way above it's price point. The only small criticism I have is the relative bright/thin mids. I would have preferred it to be a bit warmer, but I have gotten used to it.

I don't know if Ibasso was thinking about the IT04 when they created the DX150, for my ears it's the perfect combination. The DX150 gives it a touch of warmth and adds some "musicality". With my X7ii it can sometimes be a bit too sterile.

And percussions in general.. found myself listenting to pieces i.e. from Africa I would never find interest in before. :)

Everybody is too busy enjoying their music collection with their IT04 to come back to Head-Fi and write a review.

Here is my review: Get it you won't be disappointed. at its price point it can be beaten.
Then the mission is acomplished. Ibasso want us to enjoy the music again. Not the cans .

Absolutely, that smooth midrange surely paints a nice Jazz painting :)

Also very true, one of the very few IEMs that can do both technical death metal and Jazz equally well, and both in a really high quality :)

My review on IT04 is live now!

Quite the amazing little IEM, balanced in every possible way, a speedy and punchy bass, a clear and juciy midrange, and an interesting extension in the treble that makes those shine and explode in the most impressive ways :)

Also, I still feel the logo looks pretty darn cool, just like a Fender Guitar AMP.

Hey George, I noticed in your review a mention that the IT04 is almost double the price of the DK-3001. In the US, the IT04 retails for $500 on Amazon while the DK-3001 retails for about $470. Maybe the price difference is greater in Europe but in the US the pricing is basically the same.
