  We have a new Firmware, 1.5.8. Instructions for the update are included with the download.
 
Improvements with this firmware:
1. Increased memory size for user data partition. This allows more artwork to be stored.
2. Increased embedded ID3 artwork size to be 900*900 pixels maximum. This helps to avoid a media scan crash problem and improves the media scan speed.
3. Rectified the sorting order bug.

I just hope that sound-wise, it will be exactly the same, as 1.5.2.

I haven't had any scan issues in the past as my album cover arts were below the critical size, however the improved scan speed is immediately noticeable.

Same here. Just waiting for lurker's release now. I don't think I can go back to the old fonts!

The first track problem is still there with FW 1.5.8. I can live with it, however it's annoying. Close, but still no cigar.

Not only 1/0 is still present, I also cannot skip the first track for some 30 seconds. When I try to do that, it starts the track from the beginning.

I have tried it, to skip and it works but maybe I don't understand what you are doing?

What I notice and seem it is also problem on previous firmware.

Eg I played track 2 midway (say 02:00) and switched off player.
Turn player back on song is paused at 02:00. When press backward key it goes to start of track 1 instead of starting of track 2. Press forward key again, it jumps to track2 02:00 (the same spot when it is turned off).
