I enjoy the hell out of this device. I usually don't go for DAPs that aren't Android or wifi capable, but the optical/digital output, dual SD cards, combination of touch screen and playback buttons, and file playback capabilities makes this all add up make a great device for its asking price, and a DAP that compliments today's smartphones. I bring my DX80/D14 Bushmaster rig with me just about anywhere I can. If I'm at the desk and want to stream music, I simply attach my LG-V10 to the DX80 via micro to micro otg, using the DX80 as an external DAC (with a slightly warmer and more musical sound than my V10). If I want to really pump up the output power I will go line out to the Bushmaster. Looks like a bomb, and the sound is the bomb!
The versatility is great.
If the DX200 can take all of these aspects and make the touch screen more user friendly, add wifi/network capabilities, Bluetooth, a balanced line out, and maybe a analog volume pot, it will be a pretty amazing device for sure.
The latest offerings seem to often be repeats of older models stuffed into a new shell. After seeing what ibasso is capable of creating with the DX80 (which sells for only $350 USD) I have faith that their flagship will kick butt.
