With a screen protector in place I find the leather case fits ok. But I got the TPU case on Amazon and that sucker fits fine like a glove and non slip. Even the great fitting leather cases for my other daps slip on a surface but not the TPU case. Also the volume wheel works great and love the feel of the indentations. All good. :^)

I mentioned before the questionable synergy with my Fostex and (somewhat) the Arya, but I gotta say...

The synergy with the Sony MDR-Z1R is amazing! Making me appreciate the headphones all over again. Thought the elevated bass and further mids would only hurt it, but it sounds soooo good!

Been listening to Random Access Memories after the recent Daft Punk news, and the bass is so punchy. The vocals are perfectly in place without any weird dips the Fostex had.

My TPU case is coming today finally, after the long Chinese holiday delay, and turns out they added stock to Amazon soon after my order... And it was $20 cheaper since I have Amazon Prime shipping... I'll have to remember to wait a little longer next time a new product comes out.

Should happen when your Google Account is added on the device, note I have not tried this myself on the DX300.

The DX300 will likely require the Google Play Store be installed as well.

I'm in love with this combo. My M15 is excellent too, very fun with more body in the bass and mids, but sometimes is too much bass with the T1 3rd, the DX300 have more control, more air and the highs are more natural and pleasant but with good detail too.

Try getting a cheap TPU case, it solves the volume button issues for me, even the side buttons is very hard to accidentally press now, and you gotta mean to press it. It also look better and have more protections. I like how opened it allows the LED lights to serve as night lamp for me . Sadly it is only in Android mode. I had to find a good playback app, and it is Neutron player

It took me years to befriend him he is quite special and hates people^^

UAPP is still undergo certain fix issues (MQA unfolding)
While I am experiment with EQ ing this V shaped thick sound to more appropriate



imbalance.... never exp it with any CANS that I have, e.g. Solaris OG, volume 5-8, mid Gain, mango OS. digital filter 2.
even the dynamic still exist... this reminds me DX228EX which is quite good in low volume dynamics sounding IMO...

Thanks. I think I need to just hold off my questions until I can get my hands on one. I guess a lot of this will be self evident.

Paul was hopeful of more stock after the holiday break, but it didn’t materialize so I guess I’m waiting for a bit anyways.

My LG G7 is pretty good anyways while I wait. I listened to an album today that I must have played at least 50 times in the past and probably closer to 100, and with MQA and my relatively new U12ts I was smiling and hearing things I’ve never heard in the music before. I look forward to further improvements with the DX300 on balanced output to both my U12ts and HD800.

like @Whitigir mention, Mango Player is able to unfold 4x 8x, higher then UAPP...

What I like, ibasso send unit to Davy, so hope the issued will be solved...
