Tonight's ear stories come from some fantastic equipment IMHO (just got these at the end of last week):

Dx312 does justice with metal, especially with good dynamic headphones.Tonight's ear stories come from some fantastic equipment IMHO (just got these at the end of last week):

Congratulations! I find most DUNU gear to pair well with the DX300, so I don't think you can go wrong either way.I purchased amp 12 recently, I can feel it is better than amp 11 in bass and stage. For now, I am using DK-3001 Pro, I am considering upgrading this to zen pro, waiting for a used one.
Yes, I think I am the fan of DUNU, their cable is really easy to use. And neutral sound.Congratulations! I find most DUNU gear to pair well with the DX300, so I don't think you can go wrong either way.
I really love their cables. Let us know, if you get the Zen Pro, how they pair with the different amp cards?!Yes, I think I am the fan of DUNU, their cable is really easy to use. And neutral sound.
yes but ibasso is still providing firmware support/upgrade.Is dx300 discontinued? I am keen to get a 2nd hand unit, just worry if there's still future firmware support for it.
Have gotten dx240 recently and would like to try dx300. Also have wm1am2 on hand now.
Maybe ... since it's all personal sound preference ...yes but ibasso is still providing firmware support/upgrade.
you may be better off finding a used DX320 asbit has better sonic performance from this forum
They are working on putting android 11 on the DX300, so yes there is still FW support on this. And the current FW is pretty mature IMO. So, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Also think of it this way, the DX320 and DX300 are the same device other than different DACs (and whatever hardware tweaks are required because of this) and some software tweaks. Is dx300 discontinued? I love mine as well. I see no reason to upgrade until this is totally dead...I adore DX300 and is a perfect supplementary device to M17, not to say Paul from Ibasso is fantastic support.
Exactly same here, lovely device and sound.I love mine as well. I see no reason to upgrade until this is totally dead...![]()
I think one of the best parts of owning this device has been the ability to change amp cards, which in turn changes the sound or synergy with different head gear. I used to like the 11.2 card the most, but that was because it synergized with my (then) current head gear the best. But now I find all three to be best for some of my head gear (no single one is best for all of them).Exactly same here, lovely device and sound.
