I had to use it for AK380 and DX220. For as much as IEMatch helps, I just feel a TOTL DAP needs to be implemented to have the lowest noise floor. So far out of the DAPs I have tried, Cowon P1 is the only DAP that has true pitch black background. You can't tell the player is on between tracks. M6 Pro is probably the close second. I know the player is on, but there is no hiss or hum of any sort. It's kind of like an electric car is idling.

I couldnt pick any differences in background noise floor between dx312, AK sp1k and shanling m9 using my IBasso it07 and beyers xelento (both 16ohm, around 110 sensitivity). I think the amp12EXN is even blacker.

I am also of the opinion that the DX 300 has an absolute black background. I think it's the separate battery supply.

Timeless paired with CB16 cable from IBasso are amazing. I cant believe how well these scale. It seems like they have almost no limits. Well recorded songs which sound great on the IT07, sound as good on the Timeless but less dynamic recordings which i avoided before, get a new life. The detail retrieval is outstanding but everything has a very naturally transparent timbre, whith almost no colorisation. Well implemented planars are a different level. Dx300 is made for them.

Nice that you are so happy. I am deeply frustrated. Got my amp 12 back. Result the left side is dead. I don't even hear any more noise. Now I can send it away again. If I had known all that, I would definitely have stayed with the 12 W.

I agree that Steve is a great guy that has done a fantastic job with the 12EXN mod, can only thank @Whitigir who started the mod off with his version 12W and then for @RIGATIO who just sold me on the mod with his enthusiastic reviews. It is an amassing mod and I am so glad I got it done, well done Steve and thank you guys.

Man, that sucks! But there is no way he will leave you alone with this problem. Youre gonna have your EXN back soon and working. If you will be not happy, you can always send it to Steven and get an original EXN. Fingers crossed.

Yes i hope is only a smaller problem. I was so happy today as it comes. Many problems for get the parts. Specially the Panasonic pos caps. Cost me a lot time and very stress with the ****ing customs here in Vietnam. And very expensive. Only the parts with Tax sending cost around 250 dollar. For Vietnamese guy 50 dollar. Maybe better i do it before from Steve. But i wait. If my amp not more work i buy a new amp 12 EXN from Steve. Or i wait what for amp is inside at the DX 320
